G102 Problem 1
Team Comments:
Hi Team 1,
You guys really started off the day on a soaring note. From taking the initiative to read the problem statement for the class to the sharp questions asked in your PDT, the team worked very well together, despite this being the first day of the semester. A job well done!
A commendable presentation overall as well. It was a very tight solution where the team displayed clear explanations on the three values needed in scientific thinking, and provided abundance of examples that directly showed application of these three values. The examples used were also relevant to today's problem statement, and were easily comprehensible.
Some things for for the team to mull over further - is scientific thinking only deployed by scientists? Does our day-to-day life entail scientific thinking as well? How does day-to-day ordinary thinking differ from scientific thinking? After today's lesson, are we now more aware of the need to think scientifically and be equipped with the skills?
I'm looking forward to more great work from you guys! :)
Individual Comments:
Hi Grace,
Your strength certainly shone through today, Grace! It's good to attend workshops like that for personal development. For your RJs in future, try to structure them into paragraphs for easier reading and better flow.
Fairly outspoken with good initiative shown throughout the day. While faced with quieter peers, see if you can motivate them by starting the ball rolling with your views.
A confident style of presentation, but do be mindful to balance details with time management. Some details on the perpetual motion can be better streamlined so that you can place more emphasis on the learning point about using scientific thinking to debunk beliefs and to create knowledge.
A high 'B' today. Continue to work on your presentation style and participation, particularly during the third meeting. Good work, Grace!
